Give Intermittent Faults a History
Electrical concerns can change with moisture, temperature, vibration, or a particular tractor/trailer connection. Note the conditions rather than only the last component that stopped working. Include accessory installations, battery work, jump-starts, and earlier repairs that preceded the symptom.
A failed fuse is evidence of a circuit problem, not permission to fit a larger fuse. Do not bypass protection or keep replacing a fuse without investigation. Preserve fault messages and describe whether the concern affects starting, charging, lighting, or several systems at once.
- Affected circuits and warning messages
- Weather or connection patterns
- Recent accessory and battery changes
